I actually slept good last night, fairly normal hours too. I even slept through the kitten biting my head this morning. I slept with my dad's wind up pocket watch next to my bed, something about the way it sounds is really calming.
I really miss him lately, so the first Father's Day without him is going to be really rough I think. =\
I know he'll be there with us though, he keeps an eye on me now I think, keeps me safe.
It's like 530pm now, today was pretty ho hum. I ordered new plates for my car and helped my grandparents set up for a moving sale. They've lived there for all my life...hell all of my mom's life actually, so it's really strange to be helping them move.
I like their new condo though, I think it's a good thing, as much as I hate change and fight it. They will be happy there and soon it will become home again. It's always been about THEM and not the house they were in anyways...somethings you can never change. =)

I'm sorry to hear that your dad passed away. Most people don't have to go through that until they're older and married. I'm sure this Father's Day will be rough, but it will be okay, especially because you feel his presence in your life even now. Take care.
