Learned a couple a things tonight on a bike ride...

- I was not designed with an eye toward aerodynamic efficiency.

- I am not Mr. Fix-It and therefore will probably live longer were I to more thoroughly test newly replaced brakes.

- It's Portland, dammit... Just because it's not raining when you leave the house doesn't mean it won't be raining when you're on your way home.

- Being sopping wet doesn't prohibit me from enjoying a ride.

- Even though often times I can only think of those warehouses of poor little hamsters spinning their tiny generator wheels to light up this world, night in the city, on the river is still beautiful.
