For the past several months, each day I’ve come here I’ve had a harder and harder time understanding what the site’s leadership group is doing. During this extended period there have been a lot of SOTD being featured of SGs from years past. Today is no exception. I’ve written about this before and my question is still: why? I don’t remember seeing any particular announcement...

I wasn’t intending to be negative towards Hex. I’ll take your points, but I think my questions are valid, and I hope the site ownership can figure out how to do the right thing while continuing to exercise its own prerogatives about what it chooses to promote. It comes down to principles in my view. There are times when I question whether the principles of inclusivity and the promotion of alternative ideas of what constitutes a standard of feminine beauty is really what the site strives for, or whether it’s simply the financial bottom line. I get that owners of sites like this have to find the balance, but it seems to me that perhaps they should wonder if they haven’t lost their way to some extent. I think it’s also worth pointing out that I’m not the only one who feels this way. Thank you for responding and taking my opinion seriously.

I understand your perspective and also that everyone's definition of "beauty" is subjective and based on their personal preferences. I genuinely think SG is the most diverse + inclusive modeling site of its nature out there. The scope of the industry has become increasingly competitive with the rise of several other competitor sites that have blossomed over the past 5ish years, many countries are in a recession currently, social media censorship and advertising for adult sites is much more strict now than in previous years, banking laws and regulations with credit card processors are stricter than ever for adult sites, and there has been a lot of thing politically and from a natural disaster perspective around the world that effects peoples' ability to spend money on luxury things like memberships to adult sites. Ownership is doing their best to adapt and balance things to ensure the longevity of the brand + site for many years to come. It might not align with the wishes of members + models at times, but there is no pleasing everyone when running a business. It's a complex machine with many moving parts. Kindness goes a long way while this is navigated. 🖤
I have noticed that since the turn of the new year, the site and its owners have chosen to highlight a lot of sets from past years that have gotten a lot of love for a long time. The SGs that have been showcased in these Sets of the Day have also been pink for a long time in most cases and are very popular....

Facts. I noticed that some popular insta models went pink here after posting 1 set and nothing else and they are not even a bit alternative. Menwhile some girls post for 10 years and stay hopeful. So idk how much do I wanna spend my time and money to make exclusive sets for the site

If you look at the old sets from back in the beginning, it’s clear the site really wanted to lean into a gritty, edgy alternative aesthetic. I know things change over time naturally, but they’ve definitely gone away from that in the past 5-10 years. At some point you have to wonder what the goals are now.
