a wonderful day! i have a few of menulis's presents to give him when i get back upstate, and i decide to do a quick check on sg and a NEW MARIE SET IS UP!!! *drool*

ugh but last night was hell. the christmas part of it all was great, but driving back took 2 hours instead of 4 cause we got stuck in that huge storm and my parents are FUCKING INCOMPETENT when it comes to driving. god it stressed me out. i was sitting in the back seat trying desperately to go to sleep, failing, and gritting my teeth to try to keep from screaming. at least it was my mother driving and not my step father, yes, the man who hit a parked car backing out of our own fucking driveway. mad

but i get to drive back upstate now, to see my kitties and my menulis and the foot and a half of snow that's waiting for me up there. yay! i know that a lot of trees and branches fell down here, due to the weight of the snow - i hope i'm not driving back to any nasty surprises.

i miss you all and i'm sorry i've been so "busy" wink wink wink as girlblue so quaintly put it. new years is just around the corner!!!

oh that seems like a very excellent christmas when you aren't with your parents like me. Although i have to say that i trust my father to drive in a blizzard enough to sleep through it like a baby. I only trust 3 people enough to sleep like that smile
