a week and 1300 dollars later i finally have my car back. thank god. i was driving their loaner - a 96 buick century - the whole time. i felt like i was driving my living room with the saggy bench seats and straight-across angular dashboard, but my living room probably would have handled better. i abused the shit out of it too, reving it way too high and making all sorts of lights come on like "low traction" and "anti-lock". the blinkers sounded like "thunk thunk thunk," and the cigarette lighter got overly excited and popped completely out of the socket every once in a while. but it was fun abusing it while it lasted, now i have to behave and only go 20 miles over the speed limit again *sigh*
