why does my kitten go insane after taking a shit? i swear to god, he runs around the room at like 93 mph with kitty litter usually on his nose (from sniffing) and paws, like "I AM THE CHAMPION EXCRETER! MY COLON IS EMPTY! SEE HOW FAST I CAN RUN NOW THAT I HAVE DROPPED 15 STINKY OUNCES, BEEEETCH!!!!"

I think it has something to do with that same short circuit in their little brains that makes them bite when they're being petted. Either that or it's just cuz the shit stinks...

I think Requiem is onto something here. A cat's sniffer is hundreds of time stronger that our right? You know how stinky that poo is to you? Imagine how stinky it is to them. I think your cat is just ODing on her own stink and it's fritzing her brain.
