I was capable of getting my account back on track, though I was assured not more than 2 weeks ago that everything on this profile was wiped because it is so old. I'm ecstatic that I haven't lost everything! All these precious photos, the networking, everything. WEEEE!! And I love the blogging abilities here! I have so many travels that I am ready to share with the Suicide Girls community.
Mmmm, I'm in my final year at UC Santa Cruz. They will not allow me to continue with graduate studies in Anthropology here because the discipline has an embedded characteristic of meeting new places, new ideas, and creating a melting pot of beliefs, rather than concentrating, specializing, and essentially dehumanizing cultural practices. So I'm off to Mexico for s splish-splash of cultura, then I'm off to Ghana to study healing practices through dance and corporeal awareness.
I have had a boyfriend now for about 7 months. He's a fine man and a blessing to be around. I would like some advice from other people about distance and maintaining relationships. I've had, meh... online relationships before that lasted a few months. Of course I wasn't sexually active then and times have changed. My body has desires. I hope to feed these cravings for sexuality by dancing and reading so fucking much that I wouldn't have the time to find people attractive. But all that shaking of skin, all that sweating, all that rhythm, hell, maybe I'll feel like I'm having sex when I dance anyways.
I am writing this between classes. I'm off to African Dance then a workshop for Community Agroecology Network. I'll have to spruce up my gardening landscaping ideas to prepare myself for a lifetime of feeding myself and those that I love.
Go start a garden. Now.
