I feel like such a slacker with everybody's journal these days. Sorry I can't leave more comments, at least I'm browsing them though ^_^
I've been super duper pooper excited about starting roller derby with a brand new league in Santa Cruz. We seem to have lots of practices but nearly enough. Combined with something around 4 nights a week of dancing and healthier veggie eating, I'm slimming down at a nice, healthy pace.
I have these gorgeous blisters all over my body. Rowing has placed some nice thick calluses on my hands and palms and the rented skates I use from the rink are unkind to my soles. However I'm growing resistance to the pain and will probably be dancing tonight with 1" diameter blister on my feetsies. How deliciously graphic, no?
I've decided to move into a place by July. My main reason being that I do _not_ want to live at home again. I want to start the process. I've been growing a lot here and I don't want to wind it backwards. Plus my life at home is not nearly as happy and fulfilling. My mother always complains about my deadbeat brother and his GF who never do anything around the house but play video games, watch movies, and halfass raise their 7 month old child. He needs to grow up and I don't think there's room for both of us to grow up with my mother dragging me down because of his mistakes.
I'll be missing 2 weeks of derby but I feel I can come back from it. Plus I'll be practicing locally as much as I can. My thighs are getting SUPER FUCKING RIPPED. They were mighty nice before but now my bum is at constant bubbliness. YAY! Pictures to come. ;P
I'm still waiting to hear back from the samples that were sent in. They are such hottie pictures! I wish I could show you all. Time...
I have a paper to write, a shower to take, music to hear, confidence to feel. I'm so, so, very happy being single and young. (My gratefulness to what life has given me is of no surprise to you all I'm sure.)

As for the dream thing, yeah I usually go to bed with weird thoughts or some kinda worry about something so maybe trying to relax and not concentrating on that shit before I sleep will help. Maybe i'm just doomed to have freaky dreams forever!
