Now I can legally enjoy shows. Ahem... yes. Shows, not alcohol *wink*

I'm soooooo VERY fucking excited to be 21 now. Its felt like the longest year of my life. However now I'm told its all downhill from here. Soon I'll be 30, then 60, then dead. Its kind of surreal to escape youth and enter into a new status in society. I feel enabled. I've always acted it, but now I think my age is catching up with how I feel.

Last night the boyfriend took me to a spa for an amazingly relaxing evening which included a sauna, spa, and full body massage. Wow...no one has ever arranged that many great things for me. We had dinner afterwards at a place called Vida where I enjoyed a portabella mushroom soup, a stack of deliciously prepared vegetables, and a rather wet artichoke drizzled in honey. I had a complimentary flan dessert even though my birthday was 3 hours away. How very kind of them...

Today I'm going to get my tattoo and relax until trivia night this evening. I've been glowing all day. I'm nearly waiting for something auspicious to occur simply so I can refuse it and enhance my happiness.

I colored my locks on Monday. They are much more uniform. Though I appreciated the Santa Cruz dreadlocks (i.e. - messy) I missed people telling me how tight and perfect my locks looked. The loose hairs and oily look wasn't working for me. My hair grows in too soft and undamaged; a preference to some but not I. I need to damage it for it to lock better, which is probably why mine have even been successful in the first place.

I think I'll paint my nails and spend some time in chat. Have a good one
