Good news: Going to Berkeley for a funeral of the grandmother of one of my best friends growing up who I've wanted to contact for some time but have not had the chance due to the awkwardness that time brings.
Bad news: Her and I used to get in fist fights and I still want to kick her ass sometimes.
Mary was a good woman who won a lawsuit with the Railroad company for $3,000,000 back in 2000. She spent the money extremely quick, gained then rapidly lost most of her friends becuase she left her "poor" friends behind. Its odd how money can blind your heart and sacrifice your necessity for the priceless joys of life to inherit what you couldn't before. They lived in a mansion near the end of mine and Laura's friendship after middle school. She acquired new wardrobes every season. I couldn't compete with her new materialistic lifestyle. She now lives in the town we grew up in after moving to Ohio for a period of time to become enganged and break up with a boy I had a crush on when I was younger but had no idea she knew. Her best friend, well... my best friend too but her and I lost contact a lot quicker, is going to be there also. I've had a crush on her since I was very young. It'll be weird meeting her since I know she is bi. Have you ever wanted to kiss someone just to see if they'd kiss back?
Lately I've been seeing myself as someone who always felt awkward around women. I'm like that boy that blushes around girls because he doesn't know how to communicate to them. I only have known how to approach/befriend males. I'm probably the biggest lesbian and haven't realized it yet. Either that or I'm shy and don't know how to talk to my own gender.
