I'm making big steps in life. Steps that will no doubt change me forever. I've decided to work 'abroad' after my next semester of school is over. I had been deciding I should transfer to UC right away then I thought to myself, there are so many opportunities for me to travel right now! I can get into an work exchange programme in UK, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Greenland, Netherlands... ANYWHERE pretty much. There are even programs where I live with a family that doesn't speak English that well and help them do so. There's also an opportunity for me to become an au pair. I am not entirely sure which I'll be doing but I know that I must get away for at least 6-12 months. These are the places to do it and next year is the perfect time before I dredg away my mind towards a degree.

I went to Ireland for a semester of study in my senior year and loved it! But I was too young and dumb to take full advantage of it (ie; too much time in the pubs, not travelling to rest of Europe). So good luck and make the most of it. You might not get another chance.

Also. We learn more about ourselves from failed relationships than from the ones that take. I didn't find my current sweetie til I was over 30. And it's been 5 years!!!
