Also on the long-term planning front Vladamir Bystrov has been targeted as the clubs number one priority signing next summer. The Spartak Moscow winger who tore Lee Naylor a new, erm, hole in his sock, majorly impressed everyone at the club and moves have been made to tie up his signature in January, ahead of the Russian season starting next spring and ahead of next years Euro 2008 (should Russia qualify) as his price may 'shoot through the roof'. We have been informed 5m has been set aside and he is one who falls into the same category as Scott Brown as a long term club investment.....we'll see.
