... I am in a bit of a shit-tizzy about settling in and defining my photographic style. I have always admired the works of Hurrell, Weston, and cunningham... particularly Hurrells "40"s Hollywood period... the intense churoscuro, shading, and attention to detail. Lately though... I have been jonesing over the multimedia effects work that new artists are creating in there digital images using Photoshop illustration techniques. I think PS modification is the new form of artistic expression.. much like the French impressionists of the late 1800s ,Czanne, Renior, Monet, etc. Creating images that dont exist in the real world intrigues me... and is yet another art form I need to explore.....
