That actually sounds pretty good. I'd love to do more acoustic stuff but my ability to play guitar and sing at the same time isn't that great, I always forget to do one or the other.
There's nowt wrong with getting your band onstage when you like, you organised it so you should be able to decide when you go on. I organise plenty of gigs and book myself as the warm up act and just say I couldn't get anyone else to do it.

I'm not in a band currently, I do some session work and the like but nothing permanent. I don't seem to be able to find anyone with the dedication that I'm willing to put in. I play bass mainly but I'm not bad at guitar or vocals either. Play sax for a couple of jazz ensembles and occasionally do piano work when needs be, but I'm a bassist first and foremost. Mainly rock/glam music but there's only so far you can take that so I've been working on a lot of soul and blues lately. Just need some way of getting it out there.

i've not been to England yet either...but someday in the future i will venture to the land where David Bowie sprang from....and to see the Tate Modern....

would love some advice with my currently obnoxious problem that I am angered at having to deal with ... its in my journal...
