Dealing with the public & their demands sucks... & yeah sometimes you just gotta run on instinct. Like I tell people where I work... I don't get paid enough to bring my brain in, I leave it at home on my pillow.
Kudos for the good strokes from your boss, it's nice to get recognized for a job well done.
