Woah, updating twice in two days. I am da king.
After having promised myself a leisurely visit with my parents for the weekend I ended up staying out until three yesterday. I finally saw my I-town pal's new place in Red Deer (which is quite awesome... MASSIVE TV... I need to go down there more often I think)
I also saw my friend's lovely cousins, who apparently are both edmonton bound for a few more years. Unfortunately, I don't know how often I'll hang out with them. Suffice it to say some people really do think Paris Hilton is a good role model and closed-minded racial stereotyping is okay to do. Fortunately Family Guy saved the day with it's ice-breaking good times humour. Is there anything TV can't fix?
I finally went out dancing again, which was great times. It's weird running into people from back when I was in school... it actually cheered me up a bit to know that not only am I remembered; some people remember me fondly
I do believe I should get out more though, as my "dancing" has fallen out of use. Either that, or I've become more aware of how awkward I am when doing so.
I also have a new tux; apparently a chain is closing down so all their tuxes were on sale in Vancouver when my parents were out that way. I have classy new threads for choir. Most enjoyable for me is that I am indeed down a pant size from last year and it's early in the year yet.
Speaking of choir, wierd dream last night. it was a major performance for the choir and I was late because I forgot my bells (our choir has handbells with it sometimes, several of which I play). The conductor started without me, leaving me to try and get in inconspicuously. Apparently though I forgot how to get around the concert hall though and spent half my time bumping recording equipment backstage.
This followed the portion of the dream, once again at a concert, but this time instead of my black jacket I accidently(?) brought my white suit jacket. Odd enough they let me sing. For the second half I borrowed one of our assistant conductor's "spare" suit jackets, which would have saved the day if not for it being a red pinstriped jacket.
Any explanations are more than welcome, as I don't entirely know what it means
