I had one of those dreams again. Wish fulfillment bullshit... when your brain is all "I know you want this so I'll give it to you in a dream and we'll be friends forever, right?"
My brain is stupid sometimes. It turns out starting a day with NiN as the sound track, let alone "Something I can Never Have," isn't a great way to start the day.
This weekend, enjoying a break from choir concerts, I finished reading V for Vendetta. I didn't think I was going to; read the first 3 pages and got really tired of the writing and decided to leave well enough alone. Then my roommate (from whom I was borrowing the book) forgot the book at the house instead of bringing it home with him to lend his dad. I figured that was a sign and so I made myself read through.
In the end? Still not my style of book but a good book, definitely. I'm glad I got through it though I don't think I'd read it again.
Also, I didn't mention it but I also finally hit 80 this weekend. I succeeded in taking a holy priest from 1-80. Rorschach would be proud. A life lived without compromise. Well, probably not. But still... it'd be nice if he was.
