So then. Night before New Years? Good TImes.
Dec 31st? Not good times at all. Woke up, had an alright morning with Pearl and then-visitor awasis and was well on my way to facing the day when an upset stomachn struck. Thinking that I was finally being punished for eating the amount of salsa I do (as I had made nachos earlier) I figured I'd wait it out... but it didn't get better.
I spent my new years teetering about in a stupor/delerium and I didn't even bring it about myself. Having the flu sucks... especially when it makes you bail on the first SG West new years, something I went to and loved the last two times
At least PearlyGirl stuck around to take care of me, which is good as I couldn't navigate stairs entirely.. Also, apparantly I crave Lime-aid when I am sick. Not sure if drinking an acidic drink is the best thing to do when one's stomach is afire but it felt good at the time.
I have pics from the night of the 30th but I'll save them for another post so I can replace this blah one with one of joy. It could happen. No, really.

Boo for the flu! I actually had girly cramps on New Years eve so nothing fun for me.
