Yesterday was misguided's birthday party, which was fabulous. I wasn't sure; it was rather late before I got there, but I was in time for cake 
. Tetris was played, good conversation was had...
I find it ironic that, just prior to going to the party I placed a rather cynical post into another journal of mine. Clearly, a good party night like last night was exactly what was needed. Nothing helps fight away being jaded like a sturdy reminded that I hang out with some really awesome people.
It also helped me get my mind of school for the first time in a long time, which was also good; I feel like I haven't had an honest break in far too long.
