The Art Institute was a lot of fun. The Michelangelo/Renaissance Exhibit was incredibly crowded. Made me feel claustrophobic. If I were to go again I would try to go during the week so that I could actually see the Exhibit.
That's it. I can't stand my hair being half orange,, half blond. If it was half red, have light blond like I wanted.. then okay. But if it wants to be orange, then by-fuck-it, it's going to be orange. *goes off to pour the remainder of the hair dye in her hair.*
from that pic it doesnt look as bad as you say... make the rest orange and leave the front tips light, then you'll get that Bowie'esque Low/Man Who Fell to Earth thing going.
So it turns out he wasn't mad because of jealousy. He was just slightly upset because he got his hopes up about what would happen at/after the party that night, and I didn't live up to his expectations. I made up for all that last night, though.
Anyway, thanks for all of your comments on my last few entries. All the advice is really helpful...... Read More

When one attends a party themed around the seven deadly sins, it's hard to keep away from evil-doing. After hours of hairdying insanity and an end result far from what I had originally wanted (but interesting looking, just the same) my friends and I got to the part-ay at 1:10... a few minutes after my boyfriend arrived.
My hair is redorange in the front turning... Read More

The grass is always greener on the other side, you know?
relationships ... well, a relationship is about the last thing i want in life right now, but that's probably because i just got divorced after 7.5 years of marriage. marriage was the best and worst all rolled into one. mostly it was great until the collapse began, about 2 years ago. with the normal ups and downs, it was fine and totally worth it. will i ever do it again? not any time soon, and not without being together with the person for a long time beforehand. but it's not completely out of the question i guess.
So I've come down with the stomach flu. Yippie! Okay, so there is no yip or pie in being sick. There was, however, a really cute boy named Chris who took care of me all this morning... *melt* I have to admit that although I'm not one for the whole relationship thing, having a sign. other does have its pluses.... Hey, I hope you're feeling better. Sometimes these things can go away as quickly as they come--I got hit with a similar thing last year that did that.
My worst sick times were:
Sick with Mono when I was 19--same thing you describe.
or
Sick with chicken pox at 22--the itching was maddening and I looked like the Elephant Man.
