There's also a night in NY, called Punk Metal Karaoke, that happens every monday at The Continental, on 3rd Avenue, near St. Marks Place (I have been to that place and probably left there some of my dignity, since I can hardly remember anything but the awful state of the bathroom). I found this link on flickr. They even have a group pool for pictures os the parties. It looks fun!
