Congratulations on and to the healthy birth of yr
new baby this must now be placed in every head line

my name is isaac and i've come to skanky possum
via scott at effing magazine

the poetry scene had a shopwindow to it being
godfelt, illusive and poor

just knowing of this this circle with it open ends and fissures,
it's honest ends and intent, i am twenty and thought i may never have
found it... that i would have to go to another city, to some foreign, stripey
coast or the woods

to know that it's here in austin and to feel it's heat is
joyous and frantic for me
i feel that naked personalities are vitamin shots
i need the teacher that leaks

as a poet and concerning my own stab
i place more importance on the well nourished
head than stanza technology...

or just, i need good people, they feed my stove

I write, besides congratulations and ramblings
to understand more something of a seminar you host
does it go on? will it go on again?

i would attend

For now i am reading catullus and weighting
my bag with edward dorn
if you know of anyone outright
i should carpet or cook with
would you please throw down their names and titles
in a reply

this month feels as one of drawing up and in
the promise of expulsion is almost too much to bear
