Half way through the second week of class and so far so good. Kind of hanging on for dear life in Real Analisys 2, but I can't complain too much.
I was playing with isight captures today, but i couldn't get it to work quite right. It kept comming out dark, but i put up a profile pic anyway. I noticed I managed to find a way to get the SG calendar in the background. Maybe one day I will get a real camera, maybe the one on my phone is better.... but i doubt it. I may try it anyway. What could go wrong <evil laugh>.
Speaking of what could go wrong, had an interesting happening the other day. I work with my roomate. We were putting in a big power supply for one of the server racks a couple of days ago when he cuts the wires to one of the battery modules. Long story short, he burned the shit out of his hand, put on a nice spark/metal shard display, blew out the battery, got a trip to the hospital, pain meds, and out of going to the gym for a while
. The things people do to avoid lifting weights...
I saw that the oscars nominations came out. I am not pleased. Still, I desire to see Sideways. It appears to be the most respctable film up for any number of awards. Eternal Sunshine was mostly ignored, and Garden State i think was completely shuned. Oh well, what do I khow... people.... <insert grumbling here>
I miss old friends, removed by many miles. I have, however, met several interesting people around of late. Now, if they ever speak to me again is another matter entirely (i have that effect on people some times).
anyway, I think this is enough right now. I think I might go back to lurking for a while, or not, but I will be around one way or the other.

I quite liked Eternal Sunshine, however when the ads for the DVD release were shown on TV they made it out to be 'the smash hit comedy of the year', I could hardly believe they were talking about the same film I saw which was interesting but not a 'teen comedy'
Ah well, I'm sure it helped sales in the end.
