Today is one of those days that little girls dream about for as long as they can remember. Today, I am going on a shopping spree for dancer-wear! biggrin

Okay, by 'spree' I mean one or two outfits... but it's shopping nonetheless and lord knows I haven't had the $ to do any of THAT In quite some time...

whatever confused whatever

Another day, another day's worth of classes ditched. Only this time, I'm ditching a midterm. This skool thing is just not working out for me. I need to take some time off. This will make my parents want to kill me, but they live in another state. They will not understand the logic of "I must take a break or I will continue to fail...

I think I've kinda got a plan for my life... at least the next decade or so of it...

1) Muddle through last years of college, while dancing
2) Graduate, dance more, save $ from dancing
3) Put dancing $ into mutual funds and other sound investments
4) Save up enough $ to open up a club of my own.

This sounds like something I...

I had a plan sorta like that...and then the economy went to hell.

Are the clubs better where you are?

Why are people so IGNORANT?! mad

Honestly! Do people just make up their own theories about shit without reading something??? Are these theories based on guilt, the desire not to have to change anything about themselves, what??? I'm just totally confused about some of the ignorant crap I've been reading lately. I'm so totally done with the thread I'm talking about. People just don't seem to...

The AIR is 1/2 a block from the Granville stop on the Redline...I lived there for 3 years and never didn't feel safe...I really liked the neighborhood and all the people in it...especially the people in the building...plus if your an artist they have dark rooms and sculpture space and gallery space all for free in the building.....Also that was the best apartment managment I've ever had....Plus for the carless there is a Domnicks, Osco and Wallgreens all with in a blocks walking distance....I think I had the biggest 1 bedroom there(in the newer building)....and it was something like 680...there is also an older building which i think rent isn't quite as much....

The building is filled with mainly columbia students and Art Institute students...it's really a great place to live...it has a little bit of a dorm feel cause everyone is younger and friendly...

"On the morning of June 14, 1968, a group of 'hippies' fled into the mountains of Colorado to wait for Doomsday."

I have to watch The Blair Witch Project tonight and write a paper about it. The paper's for my documentary class. It's about how, through the power of documentary *style*, a fake-doc tricked the stupid mainstream American movie-going audience into believing in witches for...

Thank you!

I didn't see that film until after all the hype and it came out that it was a fake. So, it wasn't that great to me. Bad acting. However, who knows what I would have thought if I had seen it beforehand? biggrin Aren't you supposed to be pink pretty soon? *taps foot impatiantly*

I had no idea that it even got into the keyboard until I noticed a tiny bit on the number pad and when I pressed down on a couple of the keys they made a squishy noise... I then popped off the keys and tried to suck up as much of it as I could with toilet paper...

Okay all, here's what I read for them tonight:

Do NOT Adjust Your Television Set...

This Queer History class IS being presented in Black and White.

No, don't try to mess with your color dials. I know you thought a group as marginalized as the queer community would be able to recognize the incredible atrocity that is America's binary racial scheme, but it turns out...

You know I hate to refute your whole theory but I knew alot of gay asian and latino men before I meet my first white one, and I still have yet to meet a gay black dude.
Just to let you know, you dont have to be the house wife, I want to be someones man-wife. Thats right I have been prepping myself in all the arts of house keeping and am looking for a good sugar momma to take care of me while I take care of her and her housesmile

Okay Oninotaki, I don't really know where you are, but yr experience is pretty unusal. Trust me, there are a *lot* of black gay men out there... maybe where you live there just isn't a large black community that close to you, or they just aren't hanging out with the white folk for some reason or another (trust me, there could be many of reasons).

ALSO, to everyone, I sincerely hope the angry sarcasm and satirical nature of this piece was understood by all... I keep forgetting that y'all don't know me and someone might be confused by this piece and think this is what I think is right or normal or something, when really that's the opposite idea of the piece.

Oooookay! that's it!

I have a poetry thang to go in a minute. It's a benefit for this group that provides media stuff (like cameras and other supplies) to young girls who couldn't otherwise afford it. It's a great cause, but honestly, I forgot I was even supposed to be going until about a week ago when I got handed a flier for it at Take Back the...
