Ok first I'd like to say that the band has made its final requests for mixing fixes on the CD so that should be ready to print soon. I'll be sure to make time to write the instant they become available for sale. It'll just be self titled because we're trying to get it the hell out. We're tired of all this waiting. 11 tracks, $10 just like I said before. Trust me, it's totally worth buying.
Also we have an upcoming gig in Cisco Texas. That's Cisco, not Frisco as some of you may have heard. That'll be on the 30th of November and we're actually getting paid so we're definitely excited about doing this gig. We'll try to do acoustic AND electric there. I hope it's packed :X What an awesome school. So if you live in Abeline or Cisco or Forth Worth or anywhere nearby, try to come out and see us! it's free. If you can't come there then on December 8th we have a show at Ventana del Soul on East Oltorf in Austin. That'll be acoustic. I hear something about an interview and the possibility of this gig being recorded too. fun!
Also at that comic book convention I mentioned, I met Aaron Douglas of Battlestar Galactica. He may be the coolest person ever. He traded me one of his $25 autographs for one of our band T-shirts, and since I brought my guitar I played him a song and he dug it. We talked a while and I think he's one great guy. He's like one of those people who doesn't realize how famous he is for something. I got autographs for the whole band.
