Wow.
This has been a surreal week. Surreal fuh reeulz.
My upstairs neighbor got evicted today so I helped him move out and clean up the place. I've now got this big house all to myself. It feels weird.
Peter was a cool guy too. He was a great neighbor and I consider him a good friend. It was always chill hangin' out with him 'cause he would always have these great party stories from the 70's and 80's. Talkin' about doin' blow with Chris Penn and Charlie Sheen, hookers, and booze in Hollywood and Malibu. A relic from the old days of the punk rock scene in Los Angeles he was.
Countless times I would be sitting in my bedroom, perusing SG when I would suddenly hear the muffled sound of Black Flag on vinyl blaring from above. It would be the cue to grab the bong and go ask if he wanted to share a bowl. Beers would most certainly follow and the night wouldn't be complete with out a rousing game of Wii Sports Bowling.
They were good times indeed. They will be greatly missed. I still have his number though so he's definitely gonna be receiving late night drunken phone calls every now and then. Knowin' ol' Pete though, it will most certainly be hammer time where he is as well.
