My neighbors have really shitty taste in "hip-hop" music, so I decided to play Mystical in retribution.

Ok, so I wouldn't qualify Mystical as good rap but what can I say, his sexist and kind of disgusting songs get me going. I want to say to someone "I came here with my dick in my hand" and "Act cool"... I paint to it and start breaking out the moves. I really want to take a hip hop class again, I danced for years and gave it up for basketball (yeah, what the fuck was I thinking). So I paint, listen to Mystical and make up dance routines. It's kind of a weird obsession. I make up routines when I drive and people get pretty annoyed bc I will listen to the same song over and over and again zoned out on a dance.

Also, I am guilty of spending hours on youtube looking at dance competition videos, sooooo I decided to share a few I found tonight.

Most interesting beginning of the night (considering it's mainly high school kids, so it falls apart a bit). Also, I fucking HATE when they zoom in, I want to see the stage damn it!

Most kicking of ass from a guy group

OH MY GOD, AND WE HAVE A WINNER!!! It's like dancing Philippino, punk, vampires!

ok, I need to get the fuck off of here but just because.......

Well I guess it's good that you thought that poster was real cause it was just a project I did for my portfolio.

It actually wasn't karaoke. It was a variety show put on by Theater At First at Johnny D's. My sister's BF is kind of a one man band and he played guitar and sang. If I ever find any Paula Abdule karaoke I will send up a flare!

I'm actually dropping the class at SMFA. It was a Flash class for web animation, but it turned out to be totally based in learning code and WAY too advanced for me. I'm hoping I can get credit towards another class.

Are you getting a masters in Art Ed? That's actually what I am applying to schools for. Hopefully I didn't just ruin my good reputation at SMFA.
