So many things going on in the world of girly (yeah i'm going to refer to myself in third person...why, bc I'm feeling a little crazy that's why....what of it??) The past few days have been grade A awesome....here are the highlights:
1. I GOT A TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIP FOR BOSTON UNIVERSITY!!!!!! That's right ladies and gents, yours truly is going to be shaping the minds of Bostons collegiate youngsters. This news makes my soul and wallet happy.
2. I'M SHAPING MINDS! Friday I went to an Eco-art camp in the woods for kids and talked to them about art. It was fucking awesome, the camp runs through Antioch college and all these kids live in dorms for a few weeks learning how to be be eco friendly/concerned citizens. It was a good time and I love working with kids (mainly 12 year olds, which they were!) Afterwards the two guys that made it possible told me and my friend (who also spoke) that the kids really responded to our talk after we left. yesssssssss.
3. HIPPIES GALORE!! I met up with my ol' hippie crowd from the days of yore and had a blast with them. I think halfjack had a great time with them as well. We all hung out in Yellow Springs (local hippie town) and listened to a friend of mine perform, made merry and just in general had a great time. There's more to the story but who wants to read about hippies anyway.
4. THE BEAST IS MOVING ACROSS THE STATES TODAY!!! That's right, my little gas guzzler is going to be making a trip to baltimore TODAY! The boy and I are going to foot it (yeah right) to Baltimore for a couple days and then i am coming back alone (sad face) to finish packing and moving home for a couple weeks.
then,.........MA is my new place to rest my feet.

I'm not too bad. Had a really bad day yesterday but I think that was the come down from the birthday high I'd been on since Monday. Still sucked though. I'm just waiting to hear from my therapist about when my psychodynamic therapy group is going to start and then, fingers crossed, I'll be able to start making some progress toward getting my ass out of the pit I've hidden away in for years.
I'm so pleased about all your news though m'dear! Glad things are working out for you, you deserve it!
