Exhaustion is setting in right about now. I've been running around all day working, playing, and doing hella laundry.
I'M GOING ON MY 4TH DAY OF NOT SMOKING!!!! I'm trying to keep my eye on the prize, which is not dying from smoking. All the women in my family that smoke end up with the cancer. The challenge may be tomorrow when I met up with my friend whose boyfriend is a complete asshole. We are supposed to get a drink and "talk". I've known her for 4 years and she was my BEST friend. Now I'm thinking, maybe it's for the better if we part ways.
I'm going to Baltimore this weekend with my boy. To all those that I met last time, I hope to see you again!! Come hang out!!

This is the guy I am studying under....he's bald, I wasn't expecting that. Eventhough he is lacking in the hair department I am still nervous.
This is probably my favorite painting by Dana Schutz. Last year when I visited the east coast I got to go to one of her shows (and buy a catalog...one of my most prized possessions) and this painting shook me. It is huge, about 10 feet tall.

Thanks for the comments m'dear, I know you're right. I don't feel guilty or bad for feeling upset - whatever went on over the years he was still my Grandad and I'm bound to feel upset, even if it is just a little. I don't feel brilliant or anything but I think I'm gonna be alright. Thanks for being there for me
