Only three weeks of school left and I am done being an undergrad!!! wahoo! This month I'm concentrating on finishing my classes, saving money to for the move and for some possible fun trips this summer (hopefully), and moving out of my studio. 
I've had it for a year now and I've spent so much time down there painting I'm really going to miss it.
I started out painting in my messy bedroom years ago (turp, laundry and all) and I slowly upgraded to the school's classroom, closets at school, and my prof's office (she is awesome). Finally I had my own studio and it was amazing to have so much space and freedom to work in. It was liberating to pay rent and say that I had a place to work and when I had to, get away from everyone to just contemplate what I needed to be doing. In August I'll have a new one so I'll only have to go a month without but this place will always have a special place in my heart. Pour one out for my studio ya'll!
I'm loving the warm weather and my freckles are starting to pop all over the place! I used to hate them but it helps to have a boy that loves them. I went out with a few friends for karoke and I had a nostalgic moment about how I've known most of them for almost 4 years now and we are all leaving at the end/middle of the summer. Chapter closing, chapter opening. I told halfjackI felt like we were in a movie and it should freeze frame on one of them while we were all laughing and joking and they would fade away with text below saying what happens to them in life. It was sad but I was glad to be around them. I just want to let all the ones I really care about know how much I love and care about them before I go. Also, I've been living with my bro this year and we've gotten really close. I'm going to miss him a lot too. I hope we stay this close when I go.

Me and my boy. The crazy thing is I met him right before I was going to move out of ohio. I decided to stay due to things that had popped up and was truly upset that I was going to be here for another year. He has made it worth it. I love him so much and I know that I am hard to date at times but I am so thankful that I stayed here (and he came back). It's been worth it. I heart you. Sigh. Being in a real relationship (with this thing called communication, which I have trouble with) has been one of the hardest and rewarding things I've ever experienced. It is up there with painting.
