It's early Monday morning. (6:00 AM) I'm having breakfast and getting myself ready for work. Hoping it's a light week at the office. The last time I looked at the calendar, there weren't too many appointments. An office party is planned for Friday afternoon. It's my first Christmas office party at this place. Kinda looking forward to it...all things considered. But first I have to get through the work week.

For everyone like me, who has an 8 to 5 job - Mon thru Fri - good luck, I hope your week goes well.

Anybody else have office parties to go to?

Before retirement we had department parties which brought on about 125-150 each Christmas. Kinda formal setting usually at a hotel party room, until our AVP left for the evening. Then watch out for the funny stuff. But we all knew our limits. It was during the very heavy "Corporate America" years between the late 70s and 80s. God I miss those parties and the people, NOT the work!
