Spent yesterday walking through Hollywood looking very tourist like with my family. Today they leave for their respective states. I'm happy to have fewer people in my apartment, sad to see them go. Tomorrow my daughter's best friend moves away. 
I plan to spend the next few days organizing the mess I've made unpacking boxes, returning/exchanging/buying gifts, finally getting those holiday cards in the mail (yeah, I'm a little behind.), buying next semester's books, and consoling a sad and lonely four year-old ... Oh! and watching lots and lots of

School. Another week off for me. Then three weeks on and off for a month. Crazy Germans.
