Why are normal things so out of the ordinary for me?

This morning I have:

shaved legs
my dad's phone number



Now I realize that neither of these things would be that far out of the realm of reality for at least half of you. I, on the other hand, have not:

shaved my legs in 4 years
spoken to my dad in 9 years

It's going to be an interesting day.
