I think a lot of signs are pointing to "give up"

My best friend decided that rather than keep the plans she and I had - she'd rather go out with some guy she's been screwing around with - who is not her husband...
I went off on her - and her response was "Jenn, sometimes I wish I could just control you."

My other best friend went on a pretty serious binge and blew everyone off for a few days.... and then expects everyone to just act like nothing happened....
I'm sorry - I can't.

I'm really hurting.
I feel very helpless and the only thing I want to do is down a couple percs and just float for awhile.

I feel so frustrated... about everything going on in my life... the complete lack of control that I feel....
