Only advice i can give on your skin is a little trick my ex used. Not glamourous, but she would take lotion and put it on, then wear gloves over them every winter's night 'fore she went to bed. It helped her and she had dry skin most of the time. Drove her crazy , alot.
Like my social advice, i do OK helping people figure out their finances, but sometimes forget to take it myself. mindsideguitar would be more useful there.
i have to sedate myself some of the time to sleep. i'm also in pain most of the time. Sedation at least works for the physical, psychological................
i can only give you a spirit hug and hope to to wish your pain away, or at least enough of a respite to let you sleep. Anything else i may do, you need but ask........
PS Right now, i plan to hang in long enough to make it to May 19th, beyond i can only guess.
