Fate vs free will is similar to the debate of nature vs nurture in the sense that it's not a matter of one or the other but a combination of both.
Point A is the present, the now. Point B is the fate. The paths you take to get there are your free will. Personally, I think my point B is "creator". I would rather take the path of "artist" creator rather than "mother" creator. I'm not absolutely certain however. I'm either too young or too stupid to know for sure. Maybe both.
