hey all!
i would first like to say that if we are 'friends', i do try to keep up with your journal posts and i really care about what you get up to. but - oddly, seeing as i am mostly unemployed - i am having trouble keeping up with all of you. and i try to comment only when i have the mental capacity to share something meaningful. so i'm just saying that i take sg friendship seriously and don't think i am not interested in your adventures if ever i am quiet.
sweet. also i've had a few people ask if i really am from pasadena, california. the answer to that is i have never been there, or anywhere else in the usa. the nickname came from the movie 'blast from the past' (brendan fraser's mum tells him he should find a girl from pasadena as they are somehow better than other girls) which my boyfriend - before he was my boyfriend - wrote a song about. then the first time he drove me home he found out i live on pasadena avenue and flipped right out!
on saturday just passed 3 of my favourite people on earth got a 6am flight from their home town of brisbane, arrived in melbourne and hung out with my brother and i for the day. toby, steve and bryce make up my favourite band after the clash - the black market. toby especially is such an inspiration to me and it was rad to see them again. half of mispent youth and al from the jerks turned up for the show too, as well as my man. it was a huge night and they didn't go onstage until 2am! so by the time we got home they only had an hour to chill before getting a cab back to the airport and getting another 6am flight home
i will see them again in a month when i fly to brisbane for christmas 
this weekend some more friends from interstate are visiting. topnovil are combining forces with my carl's second band spent shells for some rocking shows. on saturday i am seeing U2!!! then sunday morning carl and i fly to sydney to see a few of our friends there. i love having friends all up the coast

your new piercings (well probably old by now) look terrific! i loved the story about your nickname, mines from my label name - cadillac fever. i suppose thats all there is to it ahah! even though you are mainly unemployed it sounds like you are having a blast, and definately need this time off!
