is it monday now?
i had a kick-ass weekend, but hopefully the next few will kick my ass a wee bit less. friday night, my consort and i headed to our local neighborhood punky bar, where i had many a beer. and i had lots of eyeliner on. they have a rockin jukebox, and we stayed there till close, and i think i talked to everyone that works at the local tattoo shop,one guy was really drunk and told me he thought i was this stupid girl in some stupid band, but i'm not. i'm cool, he said. obviously, cool. also saw a long lost friend who used to be in love and probably still is in love with my best friend erin. and i've been trying to set erin up with a new love person forever, and there was mr. longlost, looking good, havin a job, and bein way more interesting than i remembered back in high school.
AND who else did girlcatx, your drunken social butterfly talk to that night??? BIKE STORE BOYFRIEND! yes, i looked over and there he was, and by the end of the night i had his phone number, and an invite to a party at his house next weekend... and a good conversation, and i touched his arm i think... he's so dreeeeeamy...

we went to the waffle house, and then home to sleep. saturday we recovered, and i watched trading spaces a lot and then we got a refrigerator, and some furniture from storage a few hours away. my awesome pals were visiting from oakland, and we got them to get a ride out from ft walton. so off to another bar, which i hadn't been to in years because it burned down and got rebuilt and is less seedy. there, band, music beers, talking catching up...
AND guess who was there, and ran up to me and talked to me all my himself without any prompting??? guess who gave me a skinny boy hug, and seemed genuinely jazzed to see me?? BIKE STORE BOYFRIEND!! now i'm getting concerned... what if i ruin my crush by having too much contact with the crushee??
so then me, my real-life boy, and the oakland contingent and their ride all headed back to the casa. and more beer and talking and then at like 5 or so this tweaker guy on meth showed up that a certain guy that sleeps in my bed invited over for no reason any of us could understand... my guy is a weirdo magnet. do you have a friend like that? the one that the weirdest or most annoying person in the club will gravitate toward, and somehow end up sitting next to you at the waffle house? well, that guy showed up, but luckily ended up talking to my friend steve who can talk more than any human being on the face of the earth. and who better to pair off with someone on meth? long story less long- everyone went home at 12:30 pm the next day, and i finally collapsed into sleep.

i love my friends. i'm still tired, but today, we will go grocery shopping and fil the fridge! and we will get a kitty!
what should i name the kitty? she'll be a girl... we checked out cats at the local kill shelter. the one we like is less than a yer old, a girl, friendly, and kind of fluffy grey and white.
