sunday, after lazy movie watching weekend.
movies seen;
*once we were warriors ( about maoris in n zealand. excellent, but def not the feel good movie of the year)
*fight club ( again, but kickass as always and a nice break after the relentless sadness and violence of the first movie)
*lost highway ( oh david lynch, how i love you. you strange strange little man. oh, and one question; huh?)
*swingers ( hadn't seen it since high school. was much better than i remembered.)
* the pilot episode of "the sopranos" ( better and funnier than i expected)
don't feel like writing. i want to go read "high fidelity" before i have to return it to my friend next week.

Ahhh, High Fidelity is such a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful and yet again wonderful book. I laughed my ass off reading it. Go Nick Hornby! Have you read about a boy? It's also exceptionally hip. I still haven't seen Lost Highway! And I only saw Swingers stoned once. Hmm... I love lazy movie watching weekends.

post script: Tell me Amsterdam stories, pleeaase! I went there a couple years ago, it was unbelievable. But I only got to stay for a bit of time... not nearly long enough to absorb the place. telltell.
