ha. the past few days of class have been awesome. my class is from the seoul campus, instead of the wonju ( where i teach) campus, and they are supersmart and interested in learning. plus, they laugh at my jokes.

class discussions ended up surprising and impressing me. view expressed 9 my class is all men, and 2 women;
*homosexuality; should be tolerated and accepted. it's hard to understand, but not wrong. people can't change their sexuality, and shouldn't be persecuted for it.
*transsexuals; it seems unfair that society only accepts transsexuals who are physcially beautiful.
*plastic surgery; is usually unnecessary, but can help the self esteem of thse born with disfigurements or those who have been badly injured. korean women look beautiful with uncut eyes, but if it makes her feel more beautiful and boosts confidence, then it is a woman's choice.

this may seem like a ho hum, no shit sorta discussion to you. it is not. these are really progressive ideas.

then today, we were practicing comparing and contrasting various things. as part of a game, they had to contrast me with their middle aged male korean teacher.
i am sexier, cuter, more fashionable, shorter, have more hair, more colorful hair, more tattoos, more piercings, and a better sense of humor than he does. he speaks better korean than i do, gets paid more, has a better car, and is more boring than i am.
plus, they said that george bush is stupid. and i agreed, and they all hooted.
one group said they love me, but they don't understand me a lot.

off to evening class. then drinking dongdongju at the local pojang macha, which has some kickass grilled fish, and pictures of half nekkid girls everywhere.
