don't feel like making a whole new entry... tired. can't sleep, and been waking up at 5 am from strange dreams involving odd people and sex. finally got hot water again after 2 days of boiling water and bathing in the sink. for the past 2 days i've eaten: half a bowl of ramen, and a twix. then tonight we had the office xmas party, and i wolfed down a lot of carrot sticks and dressing. and cheese. then lots of nog. mmmm nog.

i'm so glad i don't have to listen to aaron neville's "a very soulful christmas" this year. he makes me want to diiiiie.

i'm a grading machine. speaking exams make me want to die...
here are a few short stories written about me and a few other teachers by one of my freshman classes:
Once upon a time, there lived a witch called [ my name, henceforth girlcatx]. She used to eat person. Otherwise one man lived there who protect person from her. His name is "Sean" who is famous warrior. Once a day, Girlcatx saw him, and fell in love first sight. But!! Girlcatx was so ugly. He hated her and she noticed his mind, eventually. At dark night she fought with a man to eat him. When she killed him, she knew that he is "Sean" . She was very sad but she was very hungry so she ate. Him.
Girlcatx, Sean, and Damon [ all teachers] lived together. They haved some trouble.Girlcatx was a special children, so they often fighted. One day, Girlcatx brought a lion. A lion was hungry so he had all food in house. There were no food that Girlcatx had to eat, so she was angry. She began to eat all the thing in her house. Suddenly a lion attacked her. Then Sean and Damon helped to her. As a result, Sean and Damon made peace with her.

It has an interesting tradition though... I was reading about it online after seeing it in the movie Pi, and somewhere I read that the Emporors of Dynastys past would have huge Go Tournaments with the boards placed on big wooden boxes... people all gathered around... and inside the boxes were the heads of people who had called out moves or made noise during the previous games.
i guess that means they took it seriously?
