I wrote a letter to ABC online today this is what it said...(It may not be very good but I felt like writing them).
First off,
The Secret Life of the American Teenager is probably one of thee most stupid pilots I have ever seen. Speaking as a former band student I think it's irritating that Amy the main character is suppose to be a band student that gets pregnant. I think it's a big time cliche. Common I mean it's like a rip off of American Pie "Quiet little band geek is in reality not so quiet and innocent." I also find it disturbing that the show makes cheesy pokes at Christian values...maybe indirectly but it still does. I find that offensive. I am not a Christian but i value all religious ideals...and I think it's wrong how the show portrays Christians.
This is why some Christians are always wondering why others have this stupid image of Christianity It's because of shows like this. Even the portrayal of teenage life is a poor one. Not all teenagers talk, think or have sex 24/7. Yes sex will always be present because some kids will be having it...whether in high school or college or wherever. But this show leads parents and other kids to believe that all high school and teenage life is about is sex. Your adding to the number of kids having sex. If you think that kids think "Oh everyone is else is having sex I should too..." well now they are because there are probably hundreds of teens that have watched this pilot...and now for them it's reason to believe that everyone else is having sex. I really hope this series flops to be honest.

This tv show is suppose to be about a 15 year old that get's preggers...I also think they ripped it off from JUNO but that's my personal opinion.
