I just finished Beautiful You by Chuck Palahniuk.
It's nothing new, and I don't mean that as a bad thing, lol. His stuff is always sharp, witty, and original and this book was no exception. You never know where his stories are going to take you but rest assured by the time you get there you're going to feel like you need a shower!
Beautiful You is about a young, bright, self-aware woman who is struggling to pass her bar exam when she meets the richest, most powerful man in the world. She's shocked when he takes an interest in her and asks her on a date. She then unwittingly becomes his personal test subject for a revolutionary line of pleasure products for women and her life, and the world, are changed forever.
Chuck Palahniuk is my favorite author and I always recommend him highly. People have always told me that I have a twisted sense of humor but this guy always leaves me shaking my head, lol.
This is a great book so you should read it. If you're unsure then read Haunted first. It has a main narrative but each character in the book has their own short story. If you like Haunted then you'll like all his stuff.
