I've been listening to Waylon Jennings quite a bit. If all country was half as good as Ramblin' Man, I'd be a fan. I had a follow-up appointment with my dentist who seemed a bit freaked out by the hole in the roof of my mouth. She left me with this cryptic comment, "If it doesn't heal, I might have to fix it myself." That never sounds good. I woke up on time and went running and immediately knew that I should be back in bed. It was one of those mornings where you know that you should run, but you keep thinking of all the reasons you shouldn't. You got to sleep late, you have an appointment soon, you just don't feel good. I'd never missed my bed more than I did at Hillcrest and Bandera. Spurs have been in a funk, but I'm feeling pretty good. I walked out of the clinic and thought to myself, "I feel alive."
