The 2nd BBQ was less filling than the first, but still gluttonous.

The little theatre company is making me an official partner. Hooray for me! Financial situation is good; I get all my money back, and everything from here on in will be profit. We're trying to procure some wealthy benefactors. Given that this is a mostly Italian theatre company, we have many letters to send to men in construction, or cement. ....... I'll leave it at that.

Pizza today at work because the big boss had to make a speech. Oh lord, will someone roll me down the stairs? The mint leaves in my ginger tea are the only things I'll be eating for the rest of the day.

I am so full from BBQ goodies last night. Corn with lime, stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta, a seafood curry, and oh so much more. And then nut-free deserts! Cookies, brownies, and cheesecake! And I'm going to another BBQ today. It was just supposed to be a meeting about the financial situation of the theatre company, but upon hearing the kids making plans, the parents invited themselves. The Italian community I am involved with is going to make me plump and juicy in no time. I have some objections to this, but I'm sure Dogslife won't mind.

I bought some pretty wool yesterday.

It's not yarn, but hand-dyed roving. I'll be making a pillow out of it soon. After I get the hang of using it, I'll make some fleece-lined mittens. Then maybe I'll make something out of this yarn. Remember Siv trying this sweater on?

It's a good thing I live in Canada where the winters are long, because I love knitting.

I cured myself of my mild Ebay addiction. Now I think it is time to stop going to Romni Wools for a while. Especially near closing time. All the money I save by doing this, I will pour into Siv's new business.

i like all of the colours in the first pic you posted of your new wool. anything that's dark and rich is good with me.
