You live in a city your whole life, you think you know your surroundings. Then you get visitors. From out of town. Suddenly you have to think what they might want to see. This has always been difficult for me.

So I'm relying on this and this and my mom. blush

Siv, hedge what do you want to doooo?

After my rant, I've decided I want to move to New York to where theatre is actually thriving. Toronto theatre is stagnant.

journalist: What's your company's name?

j: I've never heard of you. Call me when you have more experience.

* note: I don't actually know if New York will be good for me. I'm taking the next year to research and plan.

EDIT: can someone explain this to me? I've been going to the gym for about 8 weeks, and my pants are tighter now than before I began all this exercise business. If this is what it's going to be like, I prefer flabby me to toned me. confused

You know, as I was writing that essay, all I could think was "I wonder what my professor will think my life is like after reading this?" In reality, it was just the only thesis I could think of that related to the pieces I knew well enough to write an essay about. What does suck is that I ran out of time; I didn't get a chance to go into why all these authors portrayed women as weak and destructive. Ah well.
