- So, I forgot to mention the one (HUGE) drawback of Film Buff Mondays. OLD PEOPLE SMELL. Oh my goodness, it smelled like someone peed themselves after the show. I had to check all the seats to be certain no one did.
- The Stoker was not so good, but perhaps I wasn't paying enough attention. Something about the soundtrack was making our speakers pop like crazy so I was busy staring at the board for the finale. Ace in the Hole was not Ace in the Hole but The Big Carnival (US Title). It was wonderfully campy, and Kirk Douglas' last line was amazing. The movie is not available on DVD and we watched someone's private copy in 16mm.
- Today I have to teach some high school kids about sections in lighting. I told them to bring their protractors and math skills. We'll see how many turn up.
