photoshop 3. there is no save for web option. The largest image I seem to be able to make is about 4.5" at 50 dpi.I know 72 dpi is preferred for screen resolution.
I'm guessing that the compression technology has improved in the 9 or so years since the release of Photoshop 3. I'm fixing this this week.
