The following post was meant to be posted yesterday, but as most of you know, SG decided to go AWAL 
*sighs*
Why is the feeling of missing someone that you've never met the weirdest feeling in the world?
I've been on SG for, what, 4 or 5 months now and met some amazing people on here, spesh the guys and girlies in PSW. But, no offence to anyone else, the most special person I've met is Lock. Not only has he helped me more than I can ever describe with me uni work about the police, but he's been a rock for me in the past few weeks of unorganised and scarey waves. (Very poetic, no?)
Whenever I've felt shit about myself and about my life he's been on the end of the phone to tell me how amazing I am, even with what's going on in his own life.
Yeah, so I've got mates here in Carlisle that could do that for me, but most of the time I can't help but feel that they're telling me I'm not fat or that I'm gorgeous because they're my friends and they have to. But with Alex I really do believe him when he says I'm cute/sexy/whatever.
I know that you're prolly sitting there thinking: "God, you sad bitch! Get out and talk to some real people, not a guy on the net!" but I really do feel closer to him than I do to most of my friends.
Has anyone read the Phillip Pullman books the Amber Spyglass etc about Lyra?
If you have then you'll know what I'm talking about, but if you haven't Lyra and the people in her world have souls that take the shapes of animals. And there's a part in one book where Lyra has to leave Pan, her soul, behind. She says it's like having you're heart ripped out. And at the moment I kinda feel like that.
I can't wait for the day when I'll finally meet the guy that's made my life so bearable for the past few weeks.
Hmm, this prolly sounds a bit strong! Lol. Not that I'm in love with him or anything. I do care about him and I deffinatly love him as one of my friends and I really worry about him when I know he's having yet ANOTHER argument with his psycho ex.
I just want to give him a real hug, instead of only being able to type *hugs* and tell him face to face how wonderful he is and how much he's helped me.

Nothing else to update thou except I have white paint all over my hands that will soon be joined my cream paint. I'm helping mum decorate the living room!! *Wants to get as messy as possible* lol
Oh, anyone who hasn't already, check out A Kiss of Shadows by Laurell K Hamilton. Alex recomended her to me and it's an amazing book!! 1st in a 3 part set lol. I ordered the other two off amazon the second I got home hehe
