I was asked to comment on why I might want to join a particular group... and, Well, here 'tis:
My grandmother was a lesbian. A strpper that worked New Orleans uptown. She died at the ripe-old-age of seventy-two. From my understanding, she turned tricks until she died. She left me behind to figure out the world as it is. Her daughter, My birth mother, had serious committed relatioships with a number of women. I'm left to decide whether my attraction to women is either intrinsic or learned. Whatever the case.... It exists. Even though married now, my husband is aware of my connection to women. I am thankful that he is loving enough, that I might share that fantasy, even if it is not acted upon. And I also thank you all that it's kosher with the lot of you.
